The 14th International Cycling Race around Poyang Lake

The An Yuan Station of the cycling race will

start on September 21st.

This is the third time that An Yuan has hosted the cycling race around Poyang Lake after 2024 (the 12th edition) and 2025 (the 13th edition). From the final battle in 2024 to the peak showdown in 2025, and to the brand new start in 2026, the An Yuan track will once again witness the collision of speed and passion.

Event Overview

This race will be held across 10 locations in the province from September 20th to 29th. The ten sub-races of this year's cycling race are:

Fuzhou Zixi (September 23rd)

Yingtan Longhu Mountain (September 24th)

Jian'an Yongfeng (September 25th)

Yichun Tonggu (September 27th)

Nanchang Wanli (September 28th)

Jiujiang Pengze (September 29th)

The total race distance is 2897.9 kilometers, including 1167.9 kilometers of competition distance and 1730 kilometers of transfer distance. A total of 19 intermediate sprint points and 14 climbing points are set at the 10 race stations.

There are 22 teams participating, with about 220 athletes, team leaders, and coaches. All are composed of professional teams, international teams, and national teams, and there are athletes from 31 countries and regions participating. All stages are of the International Cycling Union Asian Tour (UCI 2.2 level).

The event sets individual awards such as the overall championship, sprint championship, climbing championship, best young athlete, and Greater China overall championship, as well as team points awards. The event prize money amounts to 700,000 yuan.

An Yuan Station

The cycling race around Poyang Lake in An Yuan will start at 9 a.m. on September 21st from the Cultural Square in An Yuan County. It will pass through Tinggang Road, An Yuan Avenue, Xinshan Avenue, Sanbaoshan Avenue, G238 National Road, and pass through Fengshan Township and Tinggang Township, finally arriving at Fuaotang (the upper station of Sanbaoshan Cableway) in the Sanbaoshan Scenic Area. The total distance is 117.8 kilometers.

At that time, there will be food stalls and consumption vouchers at the Cultural Square. Besides watching the race, spectators can also enjoy the delicious food.

The riders will set off from the county, pass through the Rainbow Bridge of the Summer Scenic Area, along the Sanbaoshan Tour Road, pass by the Hakka Villages, and finally reach the ecological secret place at the source of the Dongjiang River. This track is not only a test of the riders' physical strength and skills, but also a feast for the eyes and the soul.

In Sanbaoshan, breathe the fresh air of the "natural oxygen bar". Sanbaoshan is a 5A-level tourist attraction with a forest coverage rate of up to 98%. The first waterfall of Dongjiang River, Dongfeng Lake, Mianyun Stairway, glass suspension bridge... Every place is worth visiting.

Experience the wisdom of the Hakka people in Dongsheng Village. This is the largest square Hakka village in China, with a history of over 180 years. Standing there, you can almost hear the echoes of history.

Don't forget to try a bowl of An Yuan Three-Flavor Noodles. Pork lean meat, pork liver, pork small intestine, combined with rice made from selenium-rich rice, Hakka noodles, a bowl down, feels relaxed all over. There are also steamed dumplings, bean dumplings, fake swan... The cuisine of An Yuan, like this track, makes people reluctant to leave.
