Anyuan is the source of the Dongjiang River in our motherland.

Sanbaishan is the source of the Dongjiang River, with a forest coverage rate as high as 98%. It is rich in animal and plant resources and is an important biological gene pool in southern China.The average annual temperature of Sanbaoshan is 15.1℃, and the highest value of negative oxygen ions in the air can reach 100,000 per cubic centimeter. It is known as a "summer resort" and a "natural oxygen bar".

The Dongjiang River, which originates from the Three Hundred Mountains in Anyuan, flows through Heyuan, Huizhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen, and then empties into Hong Kong via the Dongshen Water Supply Project. It is the mother river of the five cities in Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces as well as Hong Kong.About 80% of Hong Kong's fresh water resources and the main water usage in Shenzhen come from the Dongjiang River.

Anyuan is the "navel orange orchard" of the world.

If Ganzhou is the world's largest navel orange orchard, then Anyuan is the premium one among them.Anyuan is a nursery, main production area and distribution center for navel oranges in southern Jiangxi Province. It is also the first county in China to establish a pollution-free navel orange production demonstration base and the first national-level export food and agricultural product quality and safety demonstration zone for navel oranges. The people of Anyuan have cultivated about two-thirds of the navel orange seedlings in the city and grown about one-eighth of the navel orange fruits. Every year, they sort and distribute over one million tons of commercial oranges.

It can be said that "wherever there are navel oranges in China, there are people from Anyuan."
